Community Adult Learning Program (CALP)
The CALP program is a Pre-GED and GED preparation program. General Education Development (GED) is an international testing program for individuals 18 and older who have been unable to complete high school.
The Community Adult Learning Program also offers: GED preparation online, Instruction in basic computer and internet skills and Upgrading for the Canadian Forces Aptitude Test (CFAT)
Where is the program located?
This program is held at our Youth Choices Facility and is for participants 18 years and older. The Youth Choices location is at 390 King Street, Suite 207 which is at the corner of King and York Streets.
When are classes held?
The program is offered Monday to Friday. Morning classes run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and afternoon classes run from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants may register for morning classes, afternoon classes, or full days.
